Jenny & Josh {engagement}

First of all, Jenny has this laugh. I can only describe it as so very happy and so very contagious. I know, what horrible descriptive skills, but she laughs and everyone smiles… especially Josh who is simply smitten with his lady. Josh is hilarious and genuine all while being the strong silent type. Their smiles could light up more than a room, but an entire city AND as a bonus they are BEAUTIFUL! Serious hotties, not kidding, see below for proof.

The spectrum of their personalities created this beautiful spinning color wheel of love, fun, romance, passion, kindness, and playfulness. The effect was like a black hole, I mean we’re talking seriously infectious beautiful personalities. I loved them instantly which, for most people, it would be hard to do opposite.

Lisa & Ryan {engagement}

They grew up in the same neighborhood, playing all of those childhood games with the other kids in the neighborhood. They grew up and Ryan was Lisa’s first kiss. They grew up and Ryan went to college and then 8 years later, they found one another again. They both say it was love at second sight, because they had truly loved one another since childhood.
It doesn’t get any better than that right? Ryan & Lisa drove ALLL the way from Laredo, TX for their early morning shoot and they were radiant-boom-bastic! They were such troopers and packed adventure, love, and smiles for their engagement session with us, it was so fun! I simply LOVE Lisa & Ryan. Ryan is the kinda guy that you just can’t get enough of. He has a lot of knowledge, not like the nerdy bookworm kind, but the real life application kind and his witty humor and ease to talk to made him one of my new favorite people real fast. Lisa has the biggest eyes, smile and her personality is so beautiful that it almost matches her heart. I was complimenting some earrings that she was wearing with one of her outfits and she gave them to me! Who does that? Lisa, Lisa does that. We can’t wait for their wedding in the summer of 2010!

Gumby & Leah {engagement}

Gumby & Leah are intelligent, fun loving, and really truly compliment one another perfectly. Their love for one another is without limit, and it is a beautiful thing. In our opinion, that is what makes the world go round, unabashedly free love. Fa Sho!

Gumby is a grad student at SMU and is working towards a Ph.D in Chicano history and poetry and Leah is a marketing associate with a greeting card company. All of that rolled into an early morning session cranked out some of the funniest instances, the most intriguing conversation, and a barrel of laughs. We are so honored to shoot their wedding because we know every aspect has been thought of to fully emulate all that Gumby and Leah love and believe in, all while making absolutely positive that their guests are taken care of too. We love Gumby and Leah, and can’t wait for their big day!

Meanwhile, Christmas is right around the corner, we have our last wedding of the season tomorrow, and today is special. Eight years ago today Chad invited me to the drive-in on our very first date. I can’t remember what the movie was because I was too nervous that he may or may not try and hold my hand. I do remember that he was the cutest boy I had ever seen and I couldn’t wait to have more dates with him. Well, turns out we do. Tonight.
