Crystal & Radley {Wedding}

Crystal & Radley were married at First Baptist Church here in Abilene, with a reception to follow at the Abilene Country Club! All I can say about their day is that it was phenomenal. From our initial client meeting to the actual wedding day, Crystal and Radley were the most thoughtful and relaxed bride and groom. We hit it off with them immediately, and with their beaming and irresistible personalities, I am sure that is how they are with most people.

While getting ready Crystal had a very calm aura, but you could tell from the twinkle in her eye and the smile that didn’t leave her face she couldn’t wait to marry Radley. They had decided to see each other before the wedding, and even up until the last minute with people asking if they were sure about that, you could tell they both couldn’t stand being away from one another for one more second. They are so in love, and it is simply beautiful. Crystal-Light and Radtastic, you guys are the greatest!

Leah {Bride-to-be}

Reasons why I love Leah. *Ahem*
Embodies the phrase “great personal style”. Does the dancers pose (yoga), in her wedding dress, on a fainting couch, in a field, WIN. She is the most elegant, unique, and gentle person out and about these days and we were happy to be able to shoot some bridals for her. She and her now husband Paul also got shot by us for some engagement happiness and looking at those photos again just made me so thankful for our wonderful friends, Leah & Paul.

Susan - I have spent the last three years looking a photo blogs (2 daughters married). And these are the.most.beautiful. photos I have seen. Simply perfect. So joyful. I know you will have great success.

All the best,

Laura & James {Wedding}

Our blog is disgustingly behind our calendar, but I hope to change all of this when we reveal what we have been working on for weeks on December 1st!

OKAY, so back to the subject at hand, Laura & James. When I think about this wedding it just makes me smile, and probably because I remember the 100 watt smiles plastered on their faces the entire day. They just have to walk into a room and it lights up! Their big ol’ loving personalities made all of the people who traveled far and wide to see their union feel right at home. Even with the HUGE amount of people, it was such a relaxed, comfortable, and honest day, just perfect for these two.

The ceremony and reception took place in Royse City, Texas at a beautiful venue called Occasions at Stone River. But I have to say that the best detail at this wedding was the reception band. Ticket to Ride, a Beatles tribute band ROCKED the dance floor the ENTIRE night and I am almost certain that anyone in my near vicinity caught some of my own lyrical styling. You can always tell a good party by the amount of high-heels you see cast to the side of the dance floor, and there were a TON! I don’t know if I have said it before, but live bands are THE BEST for weddings.
